What is Insulating Gloves?

01.

Excellent elasticity for snug fit and great finger dexterity

02.

High tensile strength, tear-resistant and long-wearing

03.

Soft and comfortable for long-time wear

04.

Breathable knitted liner reduces sweat build-up

05.

Lightweight, no fatigue during work

06.

After-sales warranty service

07.

Low‑voltage insulation protection: Suitable for routine low‑voltage electrical work and reduces risks of minor electric shock

08.

Superior anti‑slip grip: Nitrile‑coated sandy palm provides firm hold on electrician tools and cables

09.

Oil‑proof, dirt‑resistant and abrasion‑resistant: Nitrile material resists oil and dust to extend service life

 Rubber material

Natural rubber boasts an extremely high volume resistivity, making it the primary mainstream material for insulating gloves (Class 00‑4, up to 36kV).

It delivers outstanding abrasion resistance, tear resistance and flex resistance, resisting fatigue‑induced breakage after repeated bending, ideal for high‑frequency movements in gloves and conveyor belts.

Superior sealing and barrier properties enable it to closely adhere to mating surfaces by virtue of its elasticity, providing protection against water, gas, dust and liquid penetration. This feature is widely applied in protective gloves, mask sealing edges and seams of chemical‑resistant clothing.

How Insulating  Gloves Protect Your Safety?

1

Electrical industry: Low-voltage power distribution (400V, routine inspection, wiring and electromechanical maintenance)

2

Construction, plumbing-and-electrical installation industry: Abrasion-resistance required to protect hands from scratches caused by steel rebars and sharp-edged metal parts on construction sites. Reinforced palm is recommended.

3

Auto repair /new-energy vehice maintenance / household -appliance after- sales service: 400V insulated protective gloves for inspection of 12-48V low-voltage batteries

4

Factory electromechanical and equipment maintenance 400V insulated gloves for inspection of 38oV-rated equipment suchas control cabinets, electric motors and production assembly-lines; Class-rated natural-rubber insulating gloves formaintenance work on high-voltage substations and high-voltage motors

8

Every glove undergoes rigorous high‑voltage withstand testing prior to shipment to guarantee stable and dependable insulating performance.

9

Anti‑aging raw material extends service life, making these gloves suitable for a wide range of workplace environments.

The difference between Insulating gloves and standard protective gloves

Different Core Protection Functions

Insulated gloves

Primary function is electric- shock protection. The insulating material blocks low-voltage or high-voltage electric current to prevent electric injury to hands.

General safety gloves

Only offer physical protection such as abrasion resistance, anti-slip, cut resistance and oil resistance. They provide no electrical insulation. Electric current can pass through directly, which creates electric- shock risks when working on live equipment.

Different Material Requirements

Insulated gloves

High-voltage type: Made mainly of natural rubber with strictly controlled resistivity, free of conductive impurities
Low-voltage type: Feature specially modified dipped coating with basic insulating performance

General safety gloves

Constructed from nylon, polyester, cotton yar or standard nitrile. No insulation standards are required, and some fibres may even conduct electricity.

Different Application Scenarios

Insulated gloves

Electrical inspection, circuit maintenance, battery service and operation of live equipment.

General safety gloves

Non-live operations incuding material handling, mechanical grinding, construction work and cargo loading-unloading.

Different Wear-Out Judgment Rules

Insulated gloves

Even tiny scratches, pinholes or cracks on the surface may cause insulation failure. The gloves must be discarded immediately.

General safety gloves

Can continue to be used with minor wear.

Major hazards:

Electric shock and electrocution: Accidental contact with live wires, faulty equipment or exposed conductors may cause burns, injury or fatal shocks.
Electric arc flash and arc blast: Short‑circuit sparks produce extreme high‑temperature arcs, leading to severe burns, fire and explosion risks.
Cuts, punctures and abrasions: Sharp‑edged metal cables, conduit ends, broken components and wire burrs hurt hands during installation or maintenance.

FAQ

Q: What is the voltage rating of these insulating gloves?

A: They are Class 0 dielectric gloves with a safe working voltage range of 400V‑1000V (AC), suitable for low‑voltage live‑line work at 1000V and below.

Q: Can these 400‑1000V insulating gloves be used for circuit work above 1000V?

A: No. It is strictly forbidden to use them in environments with AC voltage exceeding 1000V. Insulating gloves of higher classes (Class 1‑Class 4) must be selected.

Q: What material are the gloves made of?

A: High‑quality natural rubber with excellent insulation, anti‑aging and flexibility properties.

Q: Does every glove undergo a high‑voltage withstand test before shipment?

A: Yes. Each finished glove passes high‑voltage dielectric testing before delivery to ensure qualified insulation performance.

Q: Can you provide OEM / private‑label service?

A: OEM customization is supported. Customer logos and voltage‑rating markings can be printed on the gloves.

Q: What working scenarios are the gloves suitable for?

A: They are applied to low‑voltage live‑line operations including power‑utility maintenance, electrician inspection, new‑energy‑vehicle maintenance, construction‑site power‑distribution rooms, municipal engineering and factory electrical repair.

Q: Can anti‑static gloves replace these insulating gloves?

A: They cannot be used as a substitute. Anti‑static gloves do not offer high‑voltage dielectric protection and shall not be used for live‑line work.

Q: What are the storage requirements for the gloves?

A: Store in a cool, dry and shaded place. Keep away from heat sources, oil stains, chemicals and ozone‑generating equipment. Do not squeeze or fold the gloves.

Q: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

A: Small trial orders. Please contact our sales team for information on small trial orders.
