Metal Smelting Plants, Heat Treatment Plants
What are the problems that need to be addressed?
Hazards encountered by workers during mechanical maintenance or operation lacerations and abrasions
- Examples include feeding unpacking raw material drums moving steel drums disassembling and assembling pipe valves filtration and mixing Drum openings flanges and metal edges easily cut through gloves Once torn chemicals come into direct contact with skin Conventional chemical resistant gloves are soft with poor wear performance and no cut resistance and tear easily upon scraping Cut resistant gloves offer no chemical resistance creating conflicting performance requirements
Burns caused by high temperature and molten metal splashes the primary hazard
- Smelting molten steel molten aluminium molten copper splashes high temperature steel billets furnace walls and flues with extremely hot surfaces
- Heat treatment heating furnaces bogie hearth furnaces mesh belt furnaces radiant heat exposure to hands during workpiece discharge and quenching transfer
- Pain points conventional rubber or nitrile gloves melt upon contact with high temperature sticking to skin and leading to secondary deep burns Ordinary heat insulating gloves cannot withstand molten metal splashes and splashes burn through the glove material
Sharp metal burrs flash and casting edges resulting in cuts and punctures
- Castings forgings and cut steel components have sharp edges Deburring grinding and rough part handling readily cut gloves Many heat resistant gloves provide good thermal protection but no cut resistance standard HPPE cut resistant gloves cannot withstand high temperatures
- Pain points single function gloves fail to meet multiple requirements combined high temperature and cut resistance demands composite materials gloves wear out rapidly requiring frequent replacement
- Oil contamination quenching fluids coolants and mild chemical agent corrosion
Extremely high temperatures on furnace bodies fixtures and freshly discharged workpieces far infrared radiant heat scorches hands Conventional rubber and standard HPPE melt directly under high temperature sticking to skin and causing deep thermal burns
- Pain points ordinary cowhide only resists minor sparks with weak protection against prolonged radiant heat thin aramid cannot sustain continuous high temperature exposure short cuffs leave wrists vulnerable to burns
Quenching oil water based quenchant and salt baths nitrates alkaline solutions hot oil or hot chemicals splash when workpieces are immersed into baths Oil permeates leather making it hard and brittle
-
Pain points leather degrades quickly after oil absorption oil splashes bring both thermal burns and chemical irritation
Solution
We select suitable hand protection for routine handling, processing and assembly, and customize solutions for these industries.

- Standard models in stock; urgent orders prioritized.
- Consolidated shipment, regional warehousing and restocking shorten lead times for European sites.
- Options: private logo, custom packaging, multilingual manuals, workstation kits.
- Quotes state standard/rush lead time, MOQ and replenishment terms.
- Audit/bid documents: TDS, lab reports, declarations of conformity, certificates of origin and compliance files for European audits.
- Support materials: standard comparison tables, certificate explanations and industry application cases to simplify EHS review, technical verification and approval.
One-stop range
- HPPE cut-resistant, nitrile-coated wear/anti-slip, anti-static and impact-resistant gloves. One supplier covers warehouse transfer, unpacking, workpiece transport, fixture assembly/disassembly and maintenance. Consolidated quotation, unified lead times, integrated after-sales and custom kits streamline PPE procurement and cut costs.
Dedicated solution
- General batching, handling and outer packaging: industrial nitrile gloves-oil-resistant, weak acid/alkali resistant, liquid-proof, tear-resistant; optional nitrile coating + HPPE liner for cut resistance.
- Furnace part retrieval and high-temp workpiece handling, short contact 200–500℃: aramid heat-resistant gloves; some with palm insulation felt, EN407 contact heat. For short contact >500℃, use thickened multilayer aramid. Cotton gloves prohibited-may carbonize/ignite.
- Molten metal casting, steel tapping, slagging, red-hot metal: aluminized aluminium-foil laminated aramid gloves, resisting radiant heat and molten splashes; thick aramid with leather interlayer.
- Flue-gas smelting, pickling, non-ferrous leaching and acid mist: chemical-resistant extended-cuff neoprene gloves, acid-resistant and wear-resistant, protecting hands and forearms.

One-stop multi-station PPE glove supply to reduce the number of suppliers
Large groups require multiple types of general protective gloves for different workshops including warehouses, material handling, workpiece sorting and mechanical equipment maintenance. We supply EN388 HPPE cut-resistant gloves, nitrile coated wear-resistant anti-slip gloves, anti-static gloves and TPR impact-resistant gloves. With only one supplier to engage, there is no need to contact multiple glove manufacturers separately. This streamlines procurement, inspection and reconciliation processes and cuts supplier management costs.
Standardized and customized solutions available to match corporate unified specifications
Custom options include private brand logo, custom packaging, multi-lingual labels and instructions, and pre-packaged glove kits for different workstations. This helps groups achieve unified glove packaging and marking across all sites, facilitating on-site distribution, inventory control and staff training. Quotation documents clearly state standard lead time, rush order lead time, MOQ and replenishment terms to support corporate budget planning.
Professional workplace selection expertise to reduce work injury and compliance risks
We are familiar with common workplace hazards in fine chemical, metal smelting and heat treatment workshops including cuts from metal burrs, slip risks caused by oil contamination, abrasive wear from dust and electrostatic hazards. We provide glove selection recommendations tailored to different workstations to prevent lacerations and abrasions caused by improper glove selection, lowering work injury compensation and safety audit risks.
Centralized after-sales technical support with cross-site coordinated response
Large enterprises often have multiple branch factories across different regions. We provide a single point of contact. Technical inquiries, quality feedback and non-conformity handling are managed by one dedicated team, eliminating the need for each branch factory to liaise with separate service providers. Project-based kit bulk delivery is available to support smooth project implementation.
Tiered pricing for long-term partnerships to control total cost of consumables
Large enterprises focus on full lifecycle cost rather than unit price only. Tiered discounts apply to long-term orders. Durable glove formulations extend service intervals and reduce overall glove consumption on site, lowering annual PPE budget.
Gloves with combined multiple protection functions such as high temperature resistance plus cut resistance, chemical resistance plus anti-static performance
Products comply with European standards including EN388, EN374 and CE to meet audit requirements for European manufacturing facilities
